About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

#PitchMadness Request sent 3/29/2014
I nudged her this morning, copied a "nudging" email from another agent's website. Hours later, I received a form rejection saying that my ms had been carefully considered, but wasn't right for her list. Glad to have some closure on this one. :)

For all of you waiting on a response from Ms. Fury:

On, she states the following Wait Times:

Requested Partials 4-6 wks
Requested Fulls: 6-8 wks.

AND she's said "I'm a fan of the author nudge. Keep me on my toes, people. Please email me if I don't get back to you within the time specified on my blog." [ see: ]

So there you go, people. Nudge away when the time is appropriate. :)

Here's a great sample email from agent Jessica Sinsheimer on how to nudge an agent in a way that's not annoying:

Dear [Agent],

I’m writing to check in on [title of work], which I sent to [email address] on [date].

Thank you—hope this finds you well!

All best,
