About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the agent that is right for their work.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Per Ryxander's comment, it looks like her/his partial was requested via a blog contest, not a query.

The Erin Murphy agency is really good about requesting materials off of contests

It looks like the entire agency is not open to unsolicited queries. Do you mind if I ask how you got your query to her?

If you've had a partial or full with Tricia for a while, don't give up! I just heard back from her with a full request after she had my partial for 8 months. Sounds like she fell behind in 2012 and is catching up now.

- Partial requested from Daisy Carter's blog contest
- Partial sent 7/3/12
- Full requested 3/1/13

She did say she's making an effort to turn around faster in 2013, so here's hoping any of you who've been waiting get good news soon!

Hi guys:) Just an update, I said I would post this in agent comments where I had requests/offers. I signed today with Sarah Davies of The Greenhouse Literary Agency! I'm very excited, even though the decision was difficult because it's really hard to reject the other agents who spent so much time reading and telling me they loved my story. I didn't anticipate how sad that would make me, really. Anyway, the best of luck to all of you! I've been on QT I think since it started. Three of these offering agents rejected a past query, so never give up! This is the best place to be if you are querying, so thanks Patrick!
