According to Publishers Marketplace, Mr. Curtis is accepting mail queries.

"Brief letter queries accompanied by SASE addressed to Richard Curtis Associates, Inc., 171 East 74th Street, New York, NY 10021."

Whether this is current, I do not know.

Well, it was another long shot. I've sent him a query on 4/20 and heard back from him today. He has a full list and not accepting any new clients, unless they're in love with the project.

anglescribe: Yeah, when I was querying--and I don't recommend this--but in some instances (gut feeling? What the hey, why not?) I sometimes sent queries to those agents listed as not taking unsolicited queries, etc. And a couple/few of those went ahead and requested. Now I'm not making a recommendation to ignore these. Just sayin'.

Although it's got the unsolicited queries sign, I've sent this out last week on 10/27 and heard back today. Full roster and directed me to AAR. They would only devote their time on new projects, if they're in love with it. I guess they're not.
