Without further detail, I'd have done exactly as you did. It says direct ALL correspondence to her assistant. My guess is she does the pre-reading for Ms. Grubka so all is probably good.

I queried Lisa Grubka on 4/3. I got an automated Out-of-Office email saying that she was on maternity leave, and direct all correspondence to her assitant, Sylvie Greenberg. I queried Sylvie Greenberg, but now I'm wondering if I was supposed to do that, or whether she was just closed to queries for the duration of her maternity leave, and if I should just wait until she gets back.

Any thoughts about that?
