About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the agent that is right for their work.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Janet_T, I do think he sets queries aside and comes back to them--that's what he told me he did with mine when he requested my full. So it's out with him right now, and we're coming up on the two-month mark. *so nervous!*

Stats below for my multicultural YA fantasy.

EQ: 1/22

Keep your fingers crossed for me, queriers, if you would. He would be such an amazing agent to have! *eee*

Got a short "thanks, not right for us, good luck" rejection. At least he was prompt! Moving on...!

@lcompu, short answer is probably. My entire query (synopsis included) is just under 1.5 pages single-spaced, and even that is probably too long. My best advice is to try to keep it to as close to one page as you can possibly get it.

How long should the synopsis should be? Is four pages double spaced too long?
