Hmmm. I think it's different for a full (as opposed to a query). Nathan Bransford wrote a blog post on this issue, and recommended (forgive my paraphrasing!) an "achingly polite" nudge once a month (after the initial nudge) on a full request. Opinions as to how long to keep doing this may vary :).

I never renudged before in my life. I give them two weeks to respond. If no word, I move on and close it out as a NR. You might as well do the same thing, too, Falen.
