About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the agent that is right for their work.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Subb'ed snail mail query in October 2011. Recieved form response 6 months later: "Unfortunately, I was not sufficiently enthusiastic to feel I'd be the right agent for your work. In addition, I'm taking on very few new clients..."

S-M Q 2/16/2012
S-M R 2/24/2012

Suspense/thriller

Form rejection sent back in the nice SASE I provided. No effort at even faking personalization. In fact, it couldn't have been a more stereotypical spotted, smeared copy of a copy of a copy of a copy form rejection if they'd hired an artist to design it ... so smudged and faded I had to squint and hold the page up to the light to figure out just who it was rejecting me.

C'mon, now. I know you guys are busy. I know you can't possibly reply personally to every single pathetic query, but I DO believe you probaby CAN come up for air from the slushpile long enough to whip up a fresh form reject letter so your rejectees can at least read it.

I've gotten enough rejections to have a moderately thick skin. But this was just laughably absurd.

Okay, I'm done with my rant. :)
