But her wanting the full gave me the confidence to rewrite some. I hired a published novelist (Random House) and an MFA graduate at the same New England school I went to to help me push ahead. After that, I queried her again in the summer of 2012 now, she said she still wanted it, and to send it when it was ready. It became ready in Nov. I sent it to her after Thanksgiving and she responded in mid-Dec. saying she received it and would read it over the holidays. Because I went to her through a referral, I said the project was an exclusive. I didnt give her a time limit. Nearly two months later and no comment. So I am now sending it elsewhere. Had a good vibe, now moving on. No longer an exclusive. Not going to nudge though. If she is interested, she will find me.
