About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Hungry, rookie errors are okay. I've made a bunch of them, when I first queried, four years ago. I never gotten an official response from Emma for either one of my mss though.

Thanks, but I think I may have made a rookie error and queried too early. A friend is represented by The Andrea Brown Agency and I asked if she'd read it, she said yes, but she's very busy and I got impatient waiting and started querying. She finally read, and likes it and will forward it to her agent for me, IF I make some revisions. I realize I should have waited for more feedback.

I don't mind doing another revision, but I have fulls and a partial already floating around agencies and I may have wasted my shot with them...
