About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Question to anyone who has a full with Mr. Barbara (from when he was at Foundry)--are you going to follow up with him at the general Inkwell submissions email address? I checked Twitter and didn't see him mention anything about prior fulls, but I wondered if anyone here has asked him about them. I'm afraid my ms is forgotten because of the move and that I'll never hear back :-/

I submitted to him via inkwell management, because it was stated that the transfer is effective as of yesterday.

I was just coming over because Paper Lantern Lit posted about the Inkwell Mgmt change.

I wonder in cases like this--who gets the queries? The agent or the agency? I assume agency?

Thanks for posting that, JCHFLA! I wondered when we'd hear what was next for him.

Stephen Barbara will move to Inkwell Management on January 5 after six years at Foundry Literary + Media, and he will be followed by all 50 of his clients. He says in the announcement, "It's an agency I've long admired, and I couldn't miss the chance to work with such a world-class group of authors' representatives." --
