About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

1/14/2015- I nudged today on a query sent in October.

1/14/2015- Received and email apologizing that my query had slipped through the cracks. I am re-sending today. If you haven't heard anything after several months- I encourage you to nudge bc it does seem that they reply to their queries in most cases.

1/21/15- Helpful rejection.

Thanks for the advice! I will wait until the second week of January and nudge.

WriterEm, I've gotten a R from her in the past. You may want to nudge her after the holiday season.

writerEm, it looks like she does send rejections. I haven't queried Ms. Cirillo but if you check her reports you'll see she's replied more often than not. But it also looks like she's fairly quick. I suggest waiting until after the first of the year, and if you don't hear anything perhaps follow up.

Perhaps someone here has queried Ms. Cirillo and may have better advice, though!

Hello everyone! Do you know if they typically send a rejection letter or if they simply do not reply if they are not interested? I queried in October and I do not know if its a "no" or if she has just been swamped with work and is working her way through. I know that this time of year is especially busy for lit agents...
