About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

8/22/2014--Form Rejection

I was referred to TR by a friend of hers (she hadn't read my MS, just suggested her as an excellent agent for YA Fantasy, which clearly she is--Sarah J. Maas is her client!). Despite the personal connection, my rejection was still a form one. (I'm not spiteful--I don't envy their inboxes! Just another step on my way toward the right team for my MS.)

* Recently returned from a (short!) maternity leave as noted below. I'm sure her responses will be back-logged for some time. (Especially since this is her 3rd child and the work increases exponentially with each child.)

My top choice--referred to her by a friend of hers (not based on my MS, a referral because she's an amazing agent), an editor. TR reps one of the best YA fantasy series ever written--Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. Between those two things, it seemed like the stars had aligned.
