About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

I can't recommend Michelle highly enough. My situation is a bit peculiar--she offered on my first book, but I accepted someone else's offer, and it ultimately didn't work out with that agent--and she has been nothing but kind in our interactions. When I queried her with my new book, mentioning that she'd offered before and that I hoped she'd consider me again, I was nervous. I thought she'd think it was weird that I did that and might be offended since I'd chosen the other agent, but she was so, so nice. She said she'd love to consider my new book and hoped we might have another opportunity to work together.

In the end, she didn't connect with my new book enough to offer rep, but she did send a personalized rejection and said she'd like to see my future work if I don't get an offer this time around. If you're thinking of querying her, definitely do! She super professional and super considerate.
