About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the agent that is right for their work.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Postal Query (from Aust to UK): 19 Feb
Postal Response - Rejection: 9 April (sent 26 March)

Rejection. Partially personalised from Vicki le Feuvre (agency editor) to say they'd both read it, the presentation of my submission was wonderful and my writing has potential commercially.

Opening three chapters didn't grip them enough to fall in love with the concept. Will revise them again now I've had some time off, and see what I can change.

I'm feeling rather sad today, as Clare was definitely my initial top choice, who I really, REALLY felt a strong connection with. She's the only agent I postal submitted to, and put loads of time (and money) into presenting the submission nicely (in a box with her name on it etc).

Still, if they didn't love the work, all of that doesn't matter, hey?!

Increasingly feeling drawn to self-publishing...
