About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this literary agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with literary agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the literary agent that is right for their book.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

"Bliss, the first bunch of rejections sting. After awhile, you shrug it off and move on. Hang in there." How true! I'm still in the stinging stage.. QT is amazing tool. I'm new at this but really am impressed with the supportive community of writers that are here.

I know exactly what you mean, blissfullyblack. I had the same issue with figuring out how to position my mystery, which is also a humorous not-cozy. Fortunately, it's historical, so I went with that, but I found it interesting that agents who seem to favor cozies had no interest at all. It's very good information! I stopped querying after getting feedback from some of my top agent choices and when I discovered that the second novel is better (still have one full out and I'm letting it ride).

Good luck with your revisions! Can't wait to see what happens when you get back!
