About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the agent that is right for their work.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

The peripatetic Adam Korn is leaving literary agency DeFiore and Company to return to the editorial side, rejoining HarperCollins--this time as executive editor for William Morrow, starting January 18.

shouldnt adam be added into the ya jumble?
from website: Adam Korn joined DeFiore and Company in the fall of 2009. He became an agent after several years working in the editorial departments of the Random House and Crown Publishing Groups and HarperCollins Publishers, during which time he acquired New York Times bestselling titles GO LONG! by Jerry Rice, GOT FIGHT? by Forrest Griffin, and—in a three-book Y.A. deal with Lauren Conrad—L.A. CANDY (which stayed at #1 for several weeks).

Since I didn't hear from Laurie Munroe Abkeimeier after 3 weeks, I sent a query to Adam on 11/9; he said send it all on 11/10, did; told him of possible agent offer on 11/30; he rejected on 12/15 (said very thorough, I'm an expert on the subject, but he can't muster enthusiasm for the period as much).
Pop music book.

I'm happy for you, mstalyn; I hope this works out for you. But when "agent's" don't want you, they should be professional and courteous and send a polite e-mail to say so. There is no excuse for asking for a full manuscript and then not responding. And it seems to me that an agent who would do that to someone who isn't a client might do the same to a client if his or her book doesn't sell right away. Keep that in mind.
