About QueryTracker

Let QueryTracker tell you more about this agent. Including...

  • Query Response Times
  • Genres of Interest
  • Preferred Manuscript Lengths
  • The Best Time to Query
  • And More
And best of all, it's FREE.

How it works?

Writers provide data about their query experiences with agents.

That data is then compiled into reports showing details about each agent's query history, allowing writers to reach the agent that is right for their work.

Why is QueryTracker Free?

QueryTracker is free because it is our goal to collect as much data as possible about query letter results.

To do that, we need as many members as possible to submit their data, and the best way to do that is to make it free.

So please, join us in building the web's largest collection of query data.

Agents, please contact us to make any changes to your profile.

Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Don't want to kill any high hopes here, but I saw PJ on an agent panel at AWP this year and he said that of the roughly 700 manuscripts he gets each year in "slush" he has never taken a single one. He said everything he represents has come directly from client referrels or rarely, reading someone's piece in a lit journal and contacting them.

He sounds like he reads and offers feedback, but from the interview I heard him give, it doesn't seem like anyone from the "outside" has ever had luck breaking in with him.

SQ 12/16 lit fic
email 2/9 asking for full.

i see he asks for quite a few fulls, it seems, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. but i'm glad to see that he actually offers feedback w/ rejections. i'm getting frustrated with full requests that end up with no response or get a form R.

fingers crossed!

jj: I have the same problem. You can't even click on the books to get info. I think they don't want any submissions, otherwise why would they have such a website?
