Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.
Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).
Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.
And NEVER give money to an "agent".
The views and opinions expressed in these comments are strictly those of the comment's author. The contents of these comments have not been reviewed or approved by QueryTracker.net or Patrick McDonald.

Dear Author,
Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to read your
submission. We appreciate you considering us for representation of
your work.
Unfortunately, after careful review, we have decided that the Bradford Literary Agency
might not be the right agency for this project. This industry is incredibly
subjective, and there are many agencies out there with many different
tastes. It is for this reason that we strongly encourage you to keep
submitting elsewhere, in the hopes of finding an agent who will be an
enthusiastic champion for you and your work.
We apologize for the form letter reply, but the volume of submissions we
receive has finally made it impossible for us to personalize responses
as Ms. Bradford had for many years. We hope you will understand and forgive us
this necessary efficiency. In addition, we do not feel it is
appropriate to provide detailed editorial feedback on projects
we have decided not to represent.
We wish you all the very best of luck and success with your writing.
Sincerely,
Bradford Literary Agency
I'm assuming the synopsis is separate from the pitch in query. How long is the synopsis supposed to be? 1-2 pages? Is there a standard length when it's not specified?
