Okay - my agent has cleared my new draft of the novel, and we're off on round two of submissions.

From the first round, I got:

2 R&R (one enthusiastic, one ho-hum)
2 rejections
2 disappeared off the face of the planet.

So we're sending back to the enthusiastic R&R first in hopes of getting a quick offer. Fingers crossed!

Good luck!! (And I'd definitely encourage your agent to send it out to more that just the enthusiastic R & R, if she/he's not already doing so!)

Dzolidis -- excited to hear about your book being picked up!  You taught my daughter Gabby at NOMS... Am looking forward to telling her about your success when I get home from work this evening.

Aww... thanks!

Still no "success" to speak of yet, however. Hanging in there. (Writing a new book just in case. As long as I've got an agent, might as well keep feeding her novels until one hits.) Selling lots and lots of plays though.

Sending you hope and luck for good things to sprout from your hard work and persistence. Congrats on the R&R's, for completing revisions, and tons of luck this round!
