Hi Everyone! Nice to meet you.  Smiley I'm going to the San Francisco writer's conference next month, and I'm going to pitch my novel at an agent speed date. I'd love help with what I have so far. It's women's fiction. This would also be the bulk of my query. I really appreciate your advice! Thank you!

   * * *

In the wake of her older brother’s death, Olivia “Liv” Bailey vows never to waste a moment.

Fresh from quitting her cubicle job, the San Francisco single has started over as a promotional model, with a new age to match her newly red hair. No one needs to know her thirtieth birthday is around the corner. Pouring chardonnay and handing out cheese samples isn’t the glamour of runway modeling, but being a brand ambassador has its perks, like taking home bottles of bubbly to share with her best friend, Mia. Not to mention, Liv has met the intriguing Mark Malcolm, a wine distributor who could be marriage material.

But it’s not Liv’s turn to walk down the aisle, it’s Mia’s, and Liv is supposed to be the perfect bridesmaid. With Mia’s increasing demands, Liv wonders when her partner in crime turned into a Stepford Wife, and if their friendship has run its course. A bridal shower gone awry isn’t Liv’s only problem, there’s also her grieving mother and her brother’s friend, Ricky, bringing back childhood memories.

Liv’s booze fueled adventures offer an escape from it all. But when reality hits like a bad hangover, she realizes there’s more to life than what is on the surface. Charting a new course for herself, she faces her past, learns forgiveness, and embraces what it means to grow up.
