Further on the risk factor...I've checked the outgoing versions, which look peachy-keen. And I've triple-checked a version I forwarded to myself at another address. BUT...
Can I be 100% certain agents at other carriers than hotmail won't see signs of forwarding? No.
Is there an infinite number of agents left for me to approach? Not by a long shot.
Can I undo potential damage done in those I've already forwarded? No.
Decision: I can't afford further risk, so back to C&P with a hearty thanks to y'all.
Final note to Scout: the templates, I'm convinced are useful, because though we really should personalize each query as best we can, imo, we can't completely customize each query. Even if we could , imagine the results: Query 52, which might have worked with Agent 76, bombs, as does each successive query which misses the one agent with whom it might have worked. Site hero Tarzan didn't customize his query at all...and it shows. But it worked. The number of pages to send with the query will vary from agent to agent, for sure. Otherwise...one gladiator's opinion.

And, oh: my experience differences from yours on the attachment issue: most agents I've come across want even three chapters or 50 pages embedded in the e-mail.
