Thanks for the kind wishes Suzy, Amy, Em, Diane, Liz, Elky, Lege, GG, and JW! (Whew, I hope I didn't forget anyone!) It's SOOOO appreciated guys. ((And GG, Dawn's Supernova?! ::Fans Self:: I'm not worthy!))

It does feel surreal Amy. I kind of hope they aren't playing a big practical joke on me. *keeps fingers tightly crossed* And Elky, thanks for spreading the love. I'm going to have to make you captain of the street team.  Grin

As far as exactly what a 'lead title' is, I have to say, I don't really know. Googling has brought me a tiny bit of information, and I think it's just like what Lege said. They'll have a different kind of marketing and publicity plan for the book. (I think)

I believe a lead title is a book the publisher believes has the most potential to be a bestseller.  So they really put it "out there".  It has the biggest budget for publicity etc.  Or in other words, it is the one they are most proud of.   clap clap clap clap clap  Too cool, Jess.  Smiley

Here is a definition I found on the web that sums it up even better:

"A frontlist book featured by the publisher during a given season - one the publisher believes should do extremely well commercially."

So in other words, it'll be in every bookstore nation wide (and then some!!!)  Yee-haw!
