I've just uploaded a photo of myself; however, the picture shown at my profile does not show up entirely when the message comes out. Can someone tell me how (or if) this can be adjusted? Just a small portion of my photo shows up by my posted messages.

This site doesn't resize the photos for the sidebar. If you crop it yourself, or smallify it by about 15%, it will show up in its entirety just fine.

The whole photo is there; we just have to slide the bar to see it.

Yeah, the easiest way would probably be to crop it, if you don't want people to scroll. You can open it in microsoft paint, crop out some of the side and resave it as a new picture, then upload it.
But it's up to you. No one minds the way it is

What you see also depends on how wide your viewing window is. I see most of your photo on my screen--all of you, just a bit of right side landscape missing. I make mine smaller when I export them out of iPhoto.

Thanks, Tabris. I discovered that after I'd sent the email to inquire. So far as reducing the size of the photo is concerned, I'm not familiar with just how to do that, and I really hate trying to tackle new techniques in "cyberland".

I am learning more techniques, though -- even with "kicking and screaming all the way"!

Thanks for this info, Falen. If scrolling is not too irksome for readers -- in case they wish to see the rest of me -- then I might just leave it as it is. I'm allergic to computer technology.

Thanks a lot for the help. When it comes to computers, if a lazier way to go is available, I tend to bypass learning new computer skills.

if you do want to resize in the future, you can just google "photo resize" and there are tons of online programs that let you upload a photo and then change the dimensions to what you want and resave it.

Falen, thanks for this information. I realize that the Web probably has volumes of helpful information and techniques that I fail to avail myself of. But I'm learning my way through (somewhat) the labyrinth of cyberspace.
