I'm currently writing the third novel in a series, and I've developed doubts about the first novel's title, after naming the second, and now the third.
First of all, it's an urban fantasy series, and here's the 25 word log line I used to describe it on Janet Reid's Liz Norris Pay It Forward contest (in which it's a finalist! Wowie!)-
A sorcerer is bent on wiping out shapeshifters, particularly dragons. The FBI's shifters are running out of time to stop him before he kills again.
So there you have it. The novel is titled, at least for now, DRAGON HUNTER.
The second novel is called DEVIL MAY CARE, and the third was just named BLACK SHEEP.
Going back over everything, I think I now want to call the first book RUNNING DOWN THE DRAGON. What does everyone think? Which would you rather read, keeping in mind that they are exactly the same novel?
