Everybody else gets a hall pass to the next dimension because they’ve achieved some ultimate feat. But seventeen-year-old Katie’s too busy watching old B movies and avoiding taunts from her classmates about her mousy appearance. So, she gets a second chance to achieve her otherwise undefined life goal, but that chance expires in thirty days. Once she’s revived, alter-dimensional wraiths begin to covet the purchase of her soul, and Katie must make a decision: accept the help cocky afterlifer Martin Krane’s to fight them, which may affect her sanity, or give in to the bogus offers and face an eternity being consumed by monsters.
At 70,000 words, THE DEATH OF ME is a young adult paranormal adventure. I hold a creative writing certificate from San Jose State University and worked as a freelance editor for several years.
