I rec'd this from an agent--one of my A-list dream-hopefuls
Dear Ms. ~~~,
Thank you for sharing this first excerpt of ~~~~~~~~~~~~. It is an intriguing first page.
I'd love to see the full manuscript if it is still available for consideration.I was revising--and did NOT send the rest. I also thought--most agents are so busy---and get so many submissions--she would never notice that I had not sent the novel on.-- I was startled to receive a
second email that she sends.
She wants to know--if I'd received her email giving me the green light to send her the full manuscript.
I never knew agents to do that barely a week, after indicating send on the full manuscript"--then try to track the novel
I immediately apologized profusely for the delay, and let her know I was giving it a final polish, and she'd get it today.
She is such a sweetheart! After addressing me as----Ms XXX in the first two emails, her last email addresses me by my first name
Dear Fictionado---take as much time as you need
I have to catch up on reading anyway! So friendly and gracious. That smiley face is her addition --not mine!
Now-off to finish the polishing and send it to her!
I hope she likes it~~
