Hello

My name is Mercyone and I've only been a member of query tracker for less than a week so I don't know all the rules or
the ins and outs of being a member.

I have two questions, the first is there a limit to how many times you can submit the query and synopsis for review?
The second is if 41 people have read my synopsis and no one has given me any feedback what does that mean? I'm
not the only one who didn't get feedback after so many reads.

Stolen? If it's not nailed down, it's mine.

Hello

My name is Mercyone and I've only been a member of query tracker for less than a week so I don't know all the rules or
the ins and outs of being a member. If you haven't already, pop over to Welcome New Members and introduce yourself. We don't bite noobs; everyone else is fair game.  Yes

I have two questions, the first is there a limit to how many times you can submit the query and synopsis for review? My sweet Oprah, I hope not. Ran my query through 20 odd, (or very odd) revisions here.
The second is if 41 people have read my synopsis and no one has given me any feedback what does that mean? We get a lot of guests here and I don't think they can comment without joining up. Then there's the folks don't see a problem or don't know how to fix a problem they do see. It's an unwritten rule but we strive for balance. If I tell you that your dangling participle stinks, (And really, who's hasn't?)  crazy I really should be good enough to offer an alternative. The third option is it's busier than normal at my day job (that I LOATHE) or I tend to comment on anything I see sitting idle; as much out of boredom as courtesy, I assure you. Ask around, I' not a nice guy. Just saying. I'm not the only one who didn't get feedback after so many reads. Boy-howdie! I've had stuff languish and I've gone to specific QT-ers I admire and begged asked for their guidance. But then I have that winning personality thing going, too. Buona fortuna.  Thumbs Up
Just snapped, (after reading it three times; yeah, I'm slow)  embarrassed we're talking synopsis. Most here HATE writing them and/or crit-ing them. See yours for my comments.  Thumbs Up

Critiques should spur growth and improvement. Neither is painless.

I don't do personal attacks, defense/debate of work or grudges.

Remember, my comment's worth exactly what you paid for it. Use it, ignore it or PM-me and I'll remove it.

Buona fortuna!
