I will!

I haven't sent it in yet. The agent is someone I work with and she's insanely busy right now with all of the book fairs coming up. She knows I'm finishing the last of the edits and, actually, is okay with the bit of a wait.

But as soon as I hear anything back, you guys will be the first to know!!  Thumbs Up

Well, a lot of ups and downs right now! Next week my two fulls go out and I can't wait to send them out. I'm also writing this post while I'm in the middle of my LAST LAW FINAL EVER! (which is a bit of a success story in and of itself).

However, I finally heard back from Sarah LaPolla about my request from PitchMadness. She didn't like a lot of aspects and is just passing outright. It's a bit of a blow, but I move on.

It's odd though -- one request is rejected, and then another request comes in! I'm sitting at about a 16% request rate and it's even better since I've used the latest version of my query too. So... now it's just waiting to get someone to nibble!

I'm sorry about the R, Anya.

I was searching the forum for something last week and found a thread called "Tabris calls it in the air" where I said basically the same thing, that I'd reached a point of "conservation of submissions" where every time I got a request, something else got rejected, and vice versa, which always kept me at a steady number of fulls/partials. There must be something to it, if you're experiencing it too.

Good luck on your finals!

Congrats on making it through the final and congrats on the new request.

Sorry about the R, but it's really one step closer to your 'yes.'  wink2

Good luck and all that stuff, chickie.

Way to go on your last law school final.  clap clap Totally know what a great feeling that is. And the "final exam" dreams I have (you know, where you show up for a final in a class you never took) are never law school-related for me, always math-related. So, you may be done w/ law school exams for good, even in your subconscious!
