Soho Press

Has anyone had any dealings with Soho Press?  P & E had a strange comment next to them, something like "haven't heard good things about them recently", but their site looks OK.  Any thoughts?  Could that comment be old?  Just curious.

My friend has multiple books published by them. they are fantastic--they give advances, pay for book signings, the whole nine-yards. She's been very happy with them and her first book was a NYT-best seller.

Soho is a pretty high quality press. My agent subbed to Soho Teen. They're quite legit.

I say forget what they say on pred-ed, submit to Soho if you want, and evaluate their offer if/when it comes.
