Like many others here, I was searching for an agent on Google and came across this site. Looks like it will be useful.

I have that "Selective Memory Syndrome," but I do think I discovered QueryTracker through StumbleUpon---which is an incredible place to visit, spend time, learn, share, and become inspired.
I'm a writer/artist/editor. It took me one year to track down an amazing agent who takes new authors under his wing(s) and nurtures them. I'm now an active member of his writing group where I am work-shopping my novel. The agent's feedback has fuelled me; this class with its membership of authors has helped me grow while allowing me to maintain my voice. Now I'm here. I look forward to sharing and new outcomes.

Wait...what agent...what website? Is that a sort of thing you have to pay for or does the agent agree to rep you then work with you. You've piqued my interest.

Hi. I'm brand new and this is my first post (to any site, so bear with me if I make any mistakes!) The QT link was forwarded to my online crit group by one of our members. She found QT by googling the name of one of our past members who was recently published. (Her name is mentioned here under the Who Reps Who.) I've told everyone in the crit group how great this site is so hopefully you'll get more members soon -- I know one of them has already joined. We all write MG or YA. Diowe

Hi Diowe Welcome to QueryTracker, and thanks for the great referral.
If you have any questions about how the forum or QueryTracker works, please don't hesitate to post them.

I am a member of a Yahoo! writers community and someone there directed the group to this site. Gotta love the web!
