I signed with a new agent last month. A week after I signed, she sent me my ms with several light revisions and many edits. I sent it back to her in 2 weeks. She emailed that day to tell me where she was in her reading schedule. A week later, she informed me she was reading my revised ms. I love how fast she is and COMMUNICATIVE! After having an agent who did neither, I'm pretty much in heaven.

But now I'm just praying the revisions worked for her and we can go on sub and get this show going! I've started a new ms, and even though I've been through this process before, I'm still dying, torturing myself with what-ifs. Oh yeah, and I'm not even on sub yet...

Thanks, everyone! Got my edits back and they're super light. We should be going on sub next week! I've been at this point before, but I have a really good feeling with my new agent. Just her notes and timeline and gameplan...she's so different already (in a great way!) than my last agent.

Thanks, everyone! Submissions have started. We received several favorable responses within minutes, but I know that's not an indication of things to come. Who else is on sub? How's it going?

Progress might be in the eye of the beholder and can stop at any time, lol. I've been at this exact point many, many times; so it's both progress and not.
