Hi Patrick,
I haven't been around long and here I am suggesting new boards  naughty

Sounds like Coll attends a lot of writer's conferences and I've been to one recently.  Could we get a board to post learnings for all?  My hope is that we're not the only two and others will be willing to share their experiences with lectures, editors and agents at various conferences - almost like a "virtual conference" experience for those that cannot attend.

Thanks, Patrick!

I'm going to one in three weeks, the Eastern PA SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) one day conference they call the Fall Philly. This is for children's books only (includes YA). Don't think that's for you, CA. Coll and I are both YA writers and actually met at that Sterling Inn (SCBWI Poconos Retreat) last April.

YA's not me, but a lot of the information can be transferred.  I'd love to actually meet some of the people on this site!
