Back to Mary Sue  ... My MC scored a 24. I am okay with that since he is a kid after all. the Mary Sue test lacked when it came to having a child as your main character. So, I figure with the niavete and somewhat inocence of a mischievous youth, 24 is not too bad. What do you guys...whatever your names may be today...think? |

I got off very lightly. My main characters all scored under ten. In fact, none scored over a six. I think I lucked out because I tried to portray them realisticly by giving them distinct limitations.

Of course, it might be interesting if someone attempted to deliberately write a Mary Sue with several such characters in it just so every Mary Sueism can be used in an attempt to make it all Mary Sue. Doing that might even make it publishable as a Mary Sue parody.
I did something similar a few years ago using as many cliches as possible that I could think of and it got published.
