None of the Canadians answered. From a dozen UK agents about half requested material….one declined last week, the rest….

Can anyone suggest some UK agents? I have only found a few on QT and less on google. Then again, my search habits aren't up to par. A few suggestions of reputable agencies would be greatly appreciated!

Good luck to all!

pilot27407, thank you!!! That's quite a list--much longer than I expected. I truly appreciate you sharing. It looks like I've got a wealth of homework to do now.

Again, thank you!! And always--good luck! Grin

Wow Pilot that is so helpful. My book too takes place in England so I'm starting to consider the Brits.  Right now I have only one partial out so I have a long way to go.

Thanks!!!:)

If you have a UK agent, does that mean they'll only publish in the UK at first? Might they submit to US and UK publishers at the same time, or wait to see if the novel does ok in the UK before publishing in the US?

Lee, We have a US publisher interested in coming in on the print run. So things are moving, though it may not seem like it! B rgds, Shaun

 Smiley thanks Newday!
I'm looking forward to hearing more and more good news about your book. Thumbs Up So your agent is from the UK? Did they tell you ahead of time that they were going to pursue UK AND US publishers at the same time?
