Anyone have a business card for writing?
«

I am going to my first conference in March and wondered if I should print up some business cards with my name, email address, phone number, etc. Any ideas?

Yes, but instead of the standard business card, make them up as bookmarks.

I use both. My bookmarks have thumbnails of all my book covers. My business card is just the basic info.

I had a business card for my freelance writing. After we moved, I didn't bother having more made up. But for a conference I think they're a good thing.

I love the profile cards on
www.zazzle.com
. They're slender and come in a special case that you can slip out with your thumb.

Vista print is really good
. I went on there to make up some business cards for my writing. Make sure you put your basic contact info (name, phone, email, website, etc), and leave enough whitespace so they can write notes on it. You want them to be able to remember you, and think "ooh, how professional!"

The idea to use bookmarks and business cards is wonderful.
Karma to you.
