As promised her is my pitch.
Our story does not start with a once upon a time. Such beginnings are set apart for tales that end in happily ever after. I cannot promise this is such a tale. These are trying times. You will soon find out the reason for our concern. Trust no one, for we know not where their allegiances lie.
Barely thirteen, never been kissed, behind on her homework, and now this: "We have your mother and you're next." Homework will have to wait.
Tenebrae is a juvenile fantasy adventure. Our story explores the powerful relationship between Sara and her mother as it is stretched to its limits when Sara learns her mother has been hiding her heritage. She is the heir to a malevolent, menacing, magical realm, a title she neither wishes for, nor wanted. Her diabolical twin sisters scheme to steal her inheritance through kidnapping, mayhem, and slaughter sprinkled with a large dose of humorous antics. They had not planned on a daughter’s love undermining their plot.
Sara, a typical thirteen year-old girl is blessed with a radiant imagination and a compassionate heart albeit a bit over-protected, spoiled and lacking in confidence. In the course of her adventure, she explores her previously undetected magical gifts, conquers her fears, and battles evil transforming herself into a self-assured young lady as she uses wit and quirky pranks to confuse her adversaries.
