Some of you may have noticed a short QT outage on Tuesday. It was caused by high traffic overwhelming our server, and it wasn't the first time. I'm very happy to see that QT has become popular enough to kill the server, but it also means it is time to upgrade to a dedicated server that can handle the increased traffic. Unfortunately, the transfer will require some down time to achieve.  I'm planning to make the switch this weekend (when traffic is lower). QT main site and the forum will be unavailable starting early Saturday morning and could take from 24 to 48 hours before it comes back online. This is a perfect opportunity for everyone to focus on writing. In fact, I'm giving everyone a writing assignment for the weekend. What you write is up to you, but you must write. Post here afterward and tell us how you did. |
