Dear Agent,

I would like you to represent my YA fantasy novel, titled: Henry Planter and the Magician’s Stone, Complete at 300,000 words.

Considering the popularity of Harry Potter, I know that this will be a series that you won’t want to miss.  Henry Planter and the Magician’s Stone, is the first in a series of eight books (one more than Harry Potter), because 8 is bigger than 7 and can make us both a lot more money.

Henry Planter is an 11 year old boy, who is trapped with his grandparents who hate him.  Then one day, he finds a magic hat, where he learns that, when placed on his head, gives him magic powers. These powers, then open up to him a world filled with other magic users, and a powerful stone that will save the world from the evil Magician “Voldormiere” who disappeared from the Magician world years ago.

Henry finds out, that the hat belongs to Voldormiere, and must defeat him with a stone that falls out of the hat. Hence where the name “the Magician’s Stone” comes in.

Filled with spells, broomsticks, rabbits and an evil wizard, Henry Planter and the Magician’s Stone will be a best seller for sure.

If you are interested in my 8 books, please visit my website www.heneryplannterandthemagiciansstone.com   I am sure you won’t want to pass it by.

Sincerely.

KJ Rowley.  (Which is my pen name.)

 Rollin

See how creative you can get when 50 posts are on the line? Jumper

This is funny, but the sad thing is people really tried this sort of thing.

But your link doesn't go anywhere.  You need to make a website for it now.

Of course, then there are the sequels...

Henry Planter and the Chamber of Presents
Henry Planter and the Prisoner of Alcatraz
Henry Planter and the Cup of Flames
Henry Planter and the Order of the Griffin
Henry Planter and the Full-Figured Princess
Henry Planter and the Deadly Hollowed out Log.
and...uh...

The eighth book?

Gulp.

For some reason, I can't think of a name!

That was very clever the way you held back on the 8th title, just so you could get another post out of it.

Honesty, I didn't hold off on purpose!!  I thought of it afterwards.

Of course, now having to defend myself, I have pushed myself to 50 posts.

Hmmm...seems familiar, but I can't quite place it.  Huh?

I think in your letter you should discuss who you want to direct all the movies that are sure to be made from your series.

Very funny, seriously. Send it off to the Vatican please and see if the Pope thinks it is acceptable (this was in the news fairly recently, I don't see the problem with Potter).
Applauded!
