problem critiquing a post

Whenever I try to critique a post after making only a few suggestions when I highlight an area my cursor shoots back up to the top.  I've tried using the quote feature and the old copy and paste but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?  I used to do this all the time but now...

I've been thinking about your problem.  Did you 'upgrade' to Explorer 8?  I did, and had to uninstall it.  I think I had the same problem - among many others.

Like you I installed and un-installed it.  It messed up everything.  Thanks for trying to come up with a solution though. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.  I'll try again soon.

I cannot reply to posts on QT with Internet Explorer. I have to use the Firefox web browser. IE will let me type so far, and then the lines jump like mad if I try to go past 7 or 8 lines.

On occasion, if I'm on a public computer and Firefox is not available. I type my response into a Word document and then paste it into the Query Tracker response window. But if I try to edit it beyond 7 or 8 lines, I get the jumping problem again.

I'm afraid IE has a bug that doesn't get along with the QT forum. If you can upgrade to Firefox, you won't be sorry.

i use google chrome and haven't had a single problem with it.

Chrome's good, too. In fact, it is faster than Firefox and IE, but sometimes it will lock up (for me anyway).

Thanks everyone I will give it a try.  I'll let you know what happens.  Of course it will take me awhile to download I still have dial -up!!!!!  GRRRR
