I've been querying longer than I've been on the forum, so I have to backtrack a wee bit. After doing all my research here (I can't get over what a great resoruce this site is, BTW!), I made my list of agents and started writing my query. The morning after I sent them out, I got a request for a partial! That moment when I read the email was so exciting; I can't remember the last time I shrieked like that Rofl3 He got back to me a couple days later, said it wasn't for him. I think I was still just excited that he asked for a partial, to be honest :P Then I didn't hear anything for a while, but about a week ago, I got a request for a full, and on Friday, another request for partial! I'm really excited, and keeping my fingers crossed so tightly that it hurts happy

So great a feeling, isn't it?  As you say, even one that gets declined later still gives you a buzz, and more importantly, hope!  yay!

Stay calm.  Step away from the keyboard and DO NOT BUG THE AGENT.  Well, at least wait for 30 days before politely inquiring if they have died or something.

Congratulations!  clap
