At 70,000 words, Mary Plotter and the Publisher's Stone is a heartwarming tale of personal growth, redemption and second chances.

Mary Plotter had a promising career as a writer, until she made an off-the-cuff comment about how an agent had been in business for over a year and yet had no recorded sales.  It turns out that unlike the rest of us, Mary Plotter has never heard of the Publisher's Stone, which everyone else knows is the magical oracle that detects even the most faintly critical comment about an agent and preserves it for all eternity, ruining any chance they have of a career as a novelist.

Fortunately fledging agents Richard N. Spector and Ruby Lipshitz have taken pity on her and have joined her on a quest to destroy the Publishers Stone to clear her name.  Mary might just have a faint hope of seeing her book on the shelves -- but only she can refrain from cracking a joke about their names.

 Rollin
Yes, definitely can't wait to read book two. Possible title could be  Mary Plotter and the Chamber of Agents.
