Yes, "Makarov" should be capitalized, as should "Colt", Smith & Wesson", "Ruger", "Beretta", "Taurus", "Walther", "Thompson", "Glock", "Mossberg", "Kalashnikov", etcetera ad infinitumQuick Draw
