A blogfest is where you link your blog into a list and post on one topic, usually all on one day. Then people use the list and read other people's takes on that topic. First one I ever did was top 10 tv shows list, then did one where we all described a random place, holiday ones are popular. I always try to do them, just because that is where I always get the biggest turnout for my posts.
