Glamour Grans on Safari is posted in the query section - still trying to sort it out.  Initially the first title was CODE NAME: O.W.L.s (Old White Ladies).  It has been mentioned that if I use GLAMOUR GRANS ON SAFARI, the title will not have a wide readership, if ever, I get an Agent of course, whereas O.W.L.s probably will.

Delimma, when I started out with the novel, a friend read the first fifty pages or so and said she mistook the title to means the birds OWLS.

Please may I have some suggestions.  Thanks a mill in advance.

I love Glamour Grans on Safari, I think it's hilarious. Did people say it wouldn't be widely received because of the word Grans?

Yes, they said it will only attract a certain audience - meaning the oldies.  But my idea of the book cover is the three glamour grans pushing an old landrover up a hill (which does happen) stuck in deep mud - can you imagine these three glamour grans, covered head to toe in thick red mud - it would be hilarious.  I wouldn't have a clue what I would like as a book cover for the O.W.l.s

I prefer O.W.L.S but your publisher is likely to have an opinion on this!

I like Glamour Grannies Better than Grans, I think grannies is a more recognizable term.

Is it a Cozy? A title like that would work for a Cozy, I think. Not sure about mainstream or women's fiction, though.

Ditto the Harry Potter statements. That was the first thing I thought of too. But anyways, I think the other title is better. I like grannies instead of grans though. Good luck!
