How come when I copy, and paste stuff (like my sample pages) into a post, the formatting disappears?  Huh?

Hi Eliza,
Blame Word for that one. I assume you're using Word? A browser just can't handle all the fancy formatting that Microsoft adds to a document, so it gets stripped out or the browser tries to interpret it, but usually gets it wrong. Sorry. I wish there was something that could be done, because it's a pain for everyone. It's always been a problem and probably always will be.

Hi Eliza,

I just noticed this thread.  embarrassed

If you paste the segment to NotePad, then copy and paste again into the text box, NotePad will strip out most of the fancy formating for you.  You'll still need to add in blank lines between paragraphs, but the really weird stuff will disappear.
