Patrick,

Let me start by saying that I absolutely love this website. If I had one complaint, it’s that it has addictive qualities. I cannot stay off it! Really, you’ve created a brilliant tool that makes querying agents a pleasure rather than the nightmare I’d been anticipating. Thank you so much.

On that note, I have a wishlist of suggestions:

On the main My Agent Query List, you can sort by queries, submissions and rejections. All great. It would be really helpful to have a Closed/No Response category too.

Archiving an agent can only be done using the options icon on the Main Query List page (at least I think). It would be useful to be able to do that on the agent’s page, and on the Search Agent page as well

Premium Reports, Agent Activity. This pulls up all agents on my list, including those who are archived, so it takes a while to load. It would be enormously useful if you could refine the search to just agents with outstanding queries or subs. Because I am a self-admitted obsessive about checking their activity!

Another Watch or alert option that would be fantastic, would be if the system could let the user know whenever an agent with an outstanding query responded to anyone else on the system. In other words, a response from the agent on their Data Explorer, as opposed to a new query or a Closed/No Response entry from one of us.

When I’m researching agents, I create a bookmark for each, adding links to their deals, authors they represent, interviews they’ve given etc. It would be great if there were a way to keep those bookmark links in Query Tracker.

I hope I haven’t overwhelmed you with my wishlist! Again, thanks for giving us this amazing tool.  Smiley

Hi Rita,
It is overwhelming, but there are some good ideas in there and I appreciate you presenting them. I will definitely implement as many as I can, I just can't promise when that might be. It could take a while.

Hi Rita,
On the agent page, on the bottom left, just above Query Priority is a blue link: Manage Folders. You can also get to Folders under "My Stuff"

Either way, you can make your own custom, color-coded folder. There are 10 colors and 5 icons in each color, and you can name the folder and enter a description. They can be edited and deleted as needed.  Then you can sort using the  group by folder option and filters.

Hope that helps with one part!

And Patrick, thank you again for this great site.  clap   I won't go as far as saying the querying process is a pleasure, but it's sure been a lot easier using the site and its features.  Yes

Thanks, Patrick. Not expecting instant results! I imagine these suggestions are tricky to implement. Appreciate your prompt response and still loving QT just as is!

Thanks, CarolJ. I do use the folders already and they are enormously helpful. Smiley
