I'm extremely proud to announce that my book is finally available at Amazon in both Kindle and Trade Paperback form!  It's a tongue-in-cheek dark comedy about about a naive young woman who comes to Malibu looking for fame, fortune, and romance, but instead finds herself in a world of trouble.   eek

For those who care about parental guidence, it would fall somewhere between a PG-13 and an R.  But mostly it's lighthearted and cute, with many of the darker elements handled in a comic manner.  In short, it's probably exactly the sort of thing you'd expect from me.  If that sounds dreadful, by all means save your money.  But I'm pretty sure the rest of you will laugh out loud at least once.   Thumbs Up

Congrats, Bodwen!

I can tell from your posts that it will be an intelligent and witty treatment of life in that hotbed of earnest living--Malibu! Ha!
I look forward to it and am toasting your success.

Thanks everyone!

What's weird is that parts of this process that you'd think would happen quickly take forever, and the things that you'd assume would take forever happen in no time at all.

Thanks.

And speaking of which I've already gotten my first poor review from someone who was able to deduce from the title this was a mystery, but clearly missed from the blurb, the title, and the cartoon on the front that it's actually a comedy.  Sigh.

Cool!  Too bad there's no market for frustrated writers who would appreciate that title.

KIDDING!

I think it's awesome, and that your book will be passed around QT for years.
