Comment Indicators
Now, when you view the agent search results or your agent query list, an orange comment icon will appear next to an agent if a new comment has been left on that agent's profile.

To make sure you only see these indicators for agents you are actually interested in, they will not display unless you have viewed the agent's profile at least once in the past.
This new feature is available to all standard and premium members.

Private Listings
Private listings are not exactly new, but their existence has been uncelebrated and kind of an unintentional secret. So, I thought I would add a more prominent and direct link. So really, it's the link that's new, not the feature.
Private listings are agents or publishers that you add to the QT database, but only you can view and interact with them. This is useful if there is an agent (or publisher) you would like to query and track, but that agent (or publisher) is not listed in our regular database.
To add a private listing, go the appropriate menu at the top of the page (e.g. Agents or Publishers) and then select "Add a Private Listing" as shown below. From there you can enter the agent's/publisher's name and other contact information. After that, the agent or publisher will show up in the agent/publisher search results and can be added to your query list just like any other agent/publisher in the list.

QueryTracker Mobile
QueryTracker Mobile is a new version of the QT site, designed exclusively for the use of mobile devices, such as iPhone and BlackBerry.
Because of some advanced features of the regular QT site, some mobile devices found it to be slow and difficult (if not impossible) to use.
A site designed with these devices in mind alleviates those problems.
Now you can research agents while you're stuck in traffic, or waiting for a bus.
Because of the limitations of mobile devices, it is not practical to include all the features available on the main site. For instance, not all reports are available.
To access QT Mobile, point your mobile browser to m.QueryTracker.net
QT Mobile is available to premium members only. If you are not a premium member, but would like to test your mobile device with QT Mobile, point your mobile browser to m.QueryTracker.net/preview.php. Here you can see how your particular device formats QT Mobile.
Below are some sample screens from QT Mobile.

Feedback Report (go to report)
Every author wants feedback, especially when it comes to query letters. Afterall, how can you fix your query letter if you don't know what's wrong with it? Now you can use this report to find agents who tend to give helpful feedback in response to queries, instead of form replies.
When an author receives a rejection back from an agent, it can be a form letter or it can be a helpful response explaining why the query was rejected. When recording rejections, QueryTracker asks all users to specify if the rejection was helpful or not.
With this information, we can now see which agents tend to reply with helpful rejections and which don't. This information is shown on every agent's query report as shown below. This information is available to all standard and premium members.

But what if you want to locate agents who tend to give helpful feedback? With the Feedback Report, you can now see a list of all agents and their helpful feedback rates. This allows you to focus on those agents in hopes of getting some helpful feedback of your own.
Below is an example of the Feedback Report, available to all Premium Mebers. (Learn more about Premium Membership.)

By sorting the table by the percentage column (by clicking the column heading) you can now see which agents have the highest helpful feedback rates.
To help you narrow your search, select a genre from the list and only queries for that genre will be considered in the report.
The new query archive feature allows premium members to "hide" selected queries in their query list. This can be useful if you have a lot of rejections or old queries that you don't want cluttering up your list.
![]() |
To archive a query, go to your query list and click the settings icon for the query in question. |
![]() |
On the pop-up menu, select the "Archive" option, and the query will be hidden from view.
|
![]() |
If you need to see an archive query, just check the "Show Archive" box. All archived queries will be shown with a gray background. To un-archive a query, click the settings icon again and select "Un-Archive" from the menu. |
Please note that archiving queries only affects your query list, and not the search results page.

Genre/Length Report
This new report will display the number of manuscripts on record, grouped by word length, for the selected genre. It will tell you what manuscript lengths people are writing for the different genres.
If you are a premium member with two or more similar projects and you want to query the same list of agents and publishers for all project, this tool will help.
Instead of sifting through the listings for agents to add to your list for the other projects, now you can quickly and easily copy the list from one project to another.

When viewing an agent's profile, premium members with multiple projects can now view a Project Cross Reference.
This means that, if you have queried this agent for any other projects, the results of those queries will be shown here.
