I received the kindest rejection note from her. She shared that I had beautiful writing and that she remembered it from a past contest. She has too many lyrical picture book writers right now, but referred me to two of her colleagues. She's so lovely.

Replied the same day and with a nice personal rejection. Another rare agent that is on top of her game, thoughtful, and forward moving.

Sigh . . . said my book was too similar to another one she has so I was close this time. Close I say!
