Yeah - that's annoying when agents do that. To me, this is a signal they have plenty of what they like already.

Especially since the agency submissions email is one of those community email huge slush pits. My thought is, might as well query and address her under the premise that she might be building her list.

This agency has rights to Star Wars books and John Grisham so I am sure they can afford to be a little snobby snob lol

The website says that Nora Gonzalez is:

Originally from New York City, Nora graduated from the University of Chicago, where she majored in English Literature with a focus on Modernism. She joined The Gernert Company in 2020, after working as an assistant book scout at Del Commune Enterprises.

However, it gives no information to what she represents. Does Ms. Gonzalez represent YA, Middle Grade, Mystery, Fiction, Non Fiction? And, does she have certain genres that she doesn't represent as an agent? The bio needs to updated a bit before I can submit with confidence.
